The Foundation

I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) who is the Creator and Giver of Life, Sustainer of all things and Savior to all who put their trust in Him for eternal life. Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; John 14:23-26; 2 Corinthians 13:14.

I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory, and that He is the only Savior of lost humankind. Matthew 1:18-23; John 1:1-4 and 1:29; Acts 1:11 and 2:22-24; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-20; Hebrews 1:1-4 and 4:15.

I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells, guides, teaches, and empowers the believer and convicts the world. John 16:7-15; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9-11; I Corinthians 2:10-16; Colossians 2:6-10.

I believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God and contains the complete revelation of His will for our salvation. I Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20,21.

I believe that all people everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God, that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and that repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Luke 24:45-49; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:21-26; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Ephesians 1:3-10 and 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-7.

I believe that it is the will of God that each believer be filled with the Holy Spirit and sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the Lordship of Christ. I believe that God’s design for the Church, the Bride of Christ, is that she would display to the world His love, His holiness, the fruits of His Spirit, and His passion for all people to accept His atoning sacrifice and thus pass from eternal death to eternal life. I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment. John 5:28,29; I Corinthians 15:51-57; Revelation 20: 11-15.
